Land Securities To Start Building Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre – Update
UK based real estate investment trust Land Securities Group plc (LAND.L) said Wednesday, in an interim management statement for its first quarter, that it intends to start the 750,000 square feet shopping centre development at Trinity Leeds for which total development cost is estimated at GBP 350 million or about US$536 million.

Dispensing systems provider Aptargroup, Inc. (ATR) reported Tuesday a 64% year-over-year surge in profit for the second quarter, boosted by double digit sales growth and strong income across all business segments. The results were also positively impacted by cost containment efforts, and improved capacity utilization due to volume increases.
Platinum Underwriters Q2 Profit Rises 27% – Update
Pembroke, Bermuda-based reinsurance provider Platinum Underwriters Holdings Ltd. (PTP) on Tuesday reported a 27% increase in profit for the second quarter from last year, helped by a higher gain on investments. The company also reported a decline in expenses for the quarter.
