Kindred Healthcare Sees Lower Revenues On Proposed Medicare Reimbursement Changes – Update
Healthcare services company Kindred Healthcare, Inc. (KND) said Wednesday it estimates proposed rate changes in Medicare reimbursements would reduce the company’s Medicare revenues from Part B therapy services by about $11 million per year beginning in 2011. The company further said it is continuing to evaluate the impact of the proposed rule on its operations.
Bristol-Myers Receives European Approval For Additional Indication Of Arthritis Medication – Update
Wednesday, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (BMY) announced that it has received approval from the European Commission for yet another indication of its arthritis medication Orencia, in combination with methotrexate, to be used as a first line biologic after inadequate response with disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
