FDA Approves Kamada’s Alpha-1 Antitrypsin
Israeli biopharmaceutical company Kamada Inc. (KMDA.TA) (KAMAF.PK) has been granted approval by the Food and Drug Administration for its intravenous lung drug Glassia, an Alpha-1 Antitrypsin, to treat the genetic disorder Alpha-1 Antitrypsin deficiency.
Marshalls Half-Year Headline Revenue In Line With Current View – Update
British manufacturing company Marshalls plc (MSLH.L), in its half-year trading update, said Friday that its current trading and headline revenue were in line with its expectations. Interim results for the half year ended June 30 are slated to be announced on August 27.
Chloride Accepts Emerson Electric’s 375p/shr Cash Offer – Update
UK-based power solutions provider Chloride Group (CHLD.L) said Friday that its Board of directors intends unanimously to recommend acceptance of Emerson Electric Co.’s (EMR) cash offer of 375 pence per share, totaling GBP 997 million or about US$1.51 billion.
Lionsgate Adopts Shareholder Rights Plan – Update
Movie company Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (LGF) said late Thursday that it has adopted a shareholder rights plan, or “poison pill”, that is designed to discourage or buy time against any hostile takeover bid. The company has been the target of a hostile takeover bid by activist investor Carl Icahn.
